Suzi Miles joined the BVFD as the Office Manager in January 2017. Born and raised in Burtonsville, she follows many family members and friends who have served the BVFD over the years and welcomes the opportunity to strengthen her ties to the community.

Ms. Miles has an extensive and diverse background in Banking, Training, Human Resources, Recruiting, Management and Sales which all prepared her well for her position where she oversees and manages many departmental tasks.

Outside of work, she enjoys painting, dancing, community service, and playing games with her family and friends, She is passionate about many charities and is active in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Her son, Rhyder, enjoys participating in karate and has earned his third degree black belt.   He currently attends high school in the county and loves being part of the BVFD family.
