BVFD responds to over 5K calls in 2020

2020 has been a year unlike any other in recent memory, from our stations’ first responders going the extra mile staffing to businesses in the community paying it forward by providing meals for our department.

As the pandemic hit Burtonsville, our volunteer members stood steadfast on the front lines, making constant adjustments to safety and health procedures at the station to ensure continued coverage for the community.

In 2020, the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to over 5K calls to aid, assist, and provide emergency medical services.

We are always searching for energetic and committed volunteers to serve in many capacities, including operationally as firefighters and EMT’s offering free certifications, training, and many other benefits to all volunteers!
