The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary would like to make
you aware of the Annual Portrait Fundraiser currently taking place.

Starting October 6th, representatives will be in the area and may visit your home seeking donations. Everyone who participates will receive a complimentary 10” by 13” family portrait taken at the station. These funds raised will go toward needed maintenance, upgrades, and updates to apparatus and equipment so that we may better serve the community.

Although the BVFD does not engage in telephone solicitation, please be assured this annual, door to door portrait fundraiser is 100% endorsed by our organization.

All authorized canvassers associated with the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary’s Annual Portrait Fundraiser will carry red BVFD lanyards and photo identification. Please visit bvfd.com for a list of authorized canvassers and their vehicles.

The BVFD relies on your generosity to cover the cost of apparatus, lifesaving equipment, and gear for our volunteers. Donations from the community helped get this department started 70 years ago; we continue to rely upon our neighbors today. Any amount helps and is very much appreciated!
