The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department is proud (and excited) to announce that our new Pierce Ladder Truck will be delivered today!  While it still needs to be fully equipped with tools, and members need to go through additional training to get acquainted with the new apparatus, it will be warmly welcomed in the engine bay at BVFD.  The design, approval, engineering, inspection and final touches of this project have been in the works for years.  Many thanks to the members (some pictured here on the final visit to Pierce in Appleton, WI) who assisted with this endeavor.  And many, many thanks to the continued support of our first-due area residents who make contributions to help fund our necessary fire and rescue equipment!
