The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to report that no injuries were suffered in yesterday’s house fire on the 1900 block of Mayflower Drive in Silver Spring.  The rear of the two-story colonial home was nearly fully engulfed. 

Responding units from BVFD and other surrounding stations worked hard to knock down this fire and save a portion of the home. 65 firefighters were involved in this effort.
