Busy Evening for Co. 15
As crews were sitting down around 1700 hours on October 1st, RS715 was alerted along with surrounding units for the personal injury collision in the 15700 block of Layhill Rd in Co. 4’s area (Sandy Spring).  Units arrived to find a single occupant trapped in a vehicle.  Crews from T725 (Aspen Hill) and RS715 extricated the patient.

Then around 1900 hours PE715, T715, A715, and PE724 (Hillandale) were alerted to the area of Columbia Pike and Blackburn Rd in Burtonsville for the reported large vehicle fire.  Units arrived on scene to find the engine compartment and rear section of a charter bus on fire.  Crews worked to extinguish the fire.
