Around 11PM on October 4th, RS715 was alerted to the area of New Hampshire Ave and Ashton Rd in Sandy Spring for a reported personal injury collision.  Units arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway that had separated into two pieces during the collision, trapping the driver in the front portion of the vehicle.  Crews removed the roof of the vehicle to gain access and remove the patient.
