Collision with EntrapmentAround 7:30 pm hours on July 7th, as crews were cleaning up from a vehicle stabilization drill, Paramedic Engine 715, Rescue Squad 715, and Ambulance 715 were alerted to the intersection of Sandy Spring Road and McKnew Rd for the report of a personal injury collision. Units arrived to find multiple vehicles involved and a single patient trapped in one of the vehicles. The squad crew went to work stabilizing the vehicle and removing the driver’s side to extricate the patient for A715 to transport while PE715 provided Advanced Life Support services and a hose line for protection.
