Basement Fire On Childress Terrace
At 2020 hours on April 25th, Company 15 and surrounding units were about to respond mutual aid to Prince Georges County for the reported building fire, when they were alerted for the reported house fire at 3614 Childress Terrace in first due. Engine 715 and Tower 715 arrived on scene to find a 2 story end of the row townhouse with smoke showing from the front door and a well developed fire in the basement. Engine 715 advanced a hoseline to extinguish the fire, while Tower 715 simultaneously performed searches, opened up, laddered the building, and ventilated. Chief 715 had command and A715 established rehab for the crews operating.
