Around 1400 hours on February 24th, units were alerted to 207 Shaw Ave in Company 24’s area for the reported house fire. PE715, T715, and C715 responded on the initial alarm. Co. 24 arrived to find smoke showing from a large 3 story home bringing RS715 and M715 on the rapid intervention dispatch. PE715 and T715 were assigned to the interior division under C715 while RS715 and M715 were assigned to the standby in the rapid intervention group. Units found fire extending from a wood stove on the interior of the home and worked to open up and extinguish the fire, preventing further extension.
