Around 11:30 PM Sunday night, Paramedic Engine 715 and Rescue Squad 715 were dispatched to the 2100 block of Apple Tree Lane for the reported house fire.

Both units were in the process of returning from a chimney fire in Sandy Spring which Truck 715 remained committed to at the time of dispatch.

Units arrived to find a two story, single family home with a car on fire in the driveway extending into the structure. PE715 made quick work of the car fire before advancing their line inside the structure. RS715 performed primary and secondary searches of the structure, removing one pet, and controlled the utilities before being reassigned to open up on the second floor. Crews found fire extension into the garage and some into the second floor.
