Just after 7 AM this morning, units were dispatched for a commercial building fire. Units from Company 15 arrived on the scene at the Merchant’s Tire Center on Automobile Boulevard in Silver Spring to find a small fire in the decorative roof area over the front entrance. Units operated for approximately 20 minutes to make sure there was no fire spread to the remainder of the building.
