At 2030 hours on June 21st, Company 15 and surrounding units were alerted to 13168 Kara Lane in Company 24’s (Hillandale) area. Units arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the first floor of a 2 story in the front, 3 story in the rear, middle of the row townhouse. Engine and Truck 715 positioned on side “C” of the structure. Truck 715 performed a primary search and horizontal ventilation on the top floor while PE715 stretched a line to the top floor. Units found a working fire on the first floor kitchen with extension.
