Engine 151 and Truck 15 from Burtonsville were called to assist on a 2 alarm fire on the corner of Main Street and 6th Street at the St. Phillips Episcopal Church.

The fire started in the basement of this historical church, first alarm crews held the fire there with only a little extension to the first floor. The fire was extinguished in about 20 mins. Fortunately there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Over 15 units and over fifty firefighters responded to this blaze.
