Just before six this morning Ambulance 159, Rescue Squad 15, Engine 151, Truck 15, EMS units from Prince Georges and Howard Counties, and Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 responded for a reported auto collision with one car on its side and on fire. Units arrived on the scene to find a two car accident with two critical priority one traumas, one of which was partially ejected. While there was no fire both patients from the overturned car were in need of immediate life safety measures. MSP Trooper 2 flew one and Ambulance 159 with medics from PG Medic 3 onboard transported both trauma's to Prince George's Hospital Center, while Howard County Ambulance transported the patient from the other car to Laurel Regional Hospital with only minor injuries. The last units clear the call at almost eight in the morning.
