Truck 15 and Rescue Squad 15 responded for a building fire in the 12500 block of Winexburg Manor Drive. Units arrived on the scene with heavy smoke showing from a three story building that housed the main boiler for a large garden apartment complex and offices for maintenance personnel. Units found fire in the boiler room, througout the roof area and extension into the the office spaces on the second and third floor. Truck 15 and Rescue Squad 15 spent the majority of their time operating on the roof, removing most of it in effort to prevent extension to the rest of the building and the attached exposure.
