Fire Department website has now been online 1997, and we are very proud
that our site is not only one of the first in the nation, but also one of
the best fire and rescue sites on the web. We are sure you will agree. We
started with a small site with a few pages and a few links. Now our site
is getting bigger all the time. We now have over 70 pages. We pride ourselves
on how extensive our links pages are. Now
covering 5 states and the District of Columbia. We have done most of the work from the firehouse on a Dell Optiplex Pentium III with a 500 processor, with a 17 inch Dell color monitor. All HTML is hand written with the aid of HotDog web editor V2.53 . This site is especially made for Netscape 4.X., and is optimized for at least 800 X 600 resolution. We believe Netscape to be the best possible browser on the market. And it's free. Our server company is now XO Communications and they are based in California.
