BURTONSVILLE BOWL 2008 - 02/03/08

On Super Bowl Sunday the members of the BVFD gathered at the station for what was supposed to be a 12 noon kick off of the annual Burtonsville Bowl. Well that didnt happen but we did finally get the teams picked and field set up. It was a beautiful day for some football and with 22 members of the department out on the field enjoying a friendly two hand touch football game it proved to be quite the battle. Finally a winner was decided arguably of course, however the game came to a close with all members in one piece and no hard feelings. During the game the all Burtonsville apparatus remained in-service and fully staffed. We would also like to thank VP Bulla and EMT Philbrick for bringing the ambulance down to the field just in case.
